Forklift accidents are more common than people think and can happen in the blink of an eye. Below are reason why incidents may occur:
- Driving with the load elevated
- Improper backing up, turning, braking or accelerating
- Improper warnings and poor communication during shared tasks
- Narrow passages, obstacles, poor surface conditions
- Inadequate servicing of the forklift
- Horseplay, stunt driving, jerky, erratic driving
Through proper training and hazard assessments, these occurrences can be avoided.
The Forklift Training course is intended for participants who are new to the trade or an experienced operator looking for re-certification to sharpen their skills.
Narrow Aisle Forklift Operator Training (On-site)
This Narrow Aisle Forklift course is approximately 4 hours of theory plus practical. The course includes an instructor led PowerPoint presentation, videos, class exercises, multiple choice test, inspection, function test and operation of a counterbalanced forklift.
