Confined Space Training
Confined spaces can be more hazardous than regular workspaces for many reasons. Accidents can happen quickly, often resulting in death. Through proper hazard assessments and control programs, these incidents can be avoided.
Our course will provide participants with an understanding of their responsibilities when working in areas of confined spaces.
Confined Space Training (In-class)
Confined spaces are a tremendous hazardous workplace. Accidents happen quickly, often resulting in death. However, through proper hazard assessments and control, these hazards can be controlled and eliminated.
This course will explain the responsibilities when working in areas of confined spaces.
The BCCSA recognizes this Confined Space Entry and Standby Course. The Alberta version of this course was previously the OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor.
We instruct both the Alberta standard and the BC standard to ensure proof of competency for most industries in both provinces.
Pre-study is recommended, and the student can arrange to pick up of study material before the training day.

Therefore, it’s important that you recognize confined and restricted spaces at the work site and identify the hazards associated with them. You also need to understand the methods for assessing, eliminating, controlling, and monitoring those hazards. This course provides knowledge and training that will help you stay safe if entering or working around confined or restricted spaces.

Entry and Monitor Training (Online)
This online Confined Space Entry and Monitor course defines confined and restricted spaces, explains the hazards associated with them, and provides methods for assessing, eliminating, controlling, and monitoring those hazards. The goal of this course is to help you demonstrate basic knowledge and proficiency in the identification, classification, and monitoring of both confined and restricted spaces. This course also covers requirements as described under Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation as they relate to confined spaces.
